I understand text messaging to a standard phone number does not provide HIPAA protection. I agree to not sharing any information that would be considered protected health information (PHI). PHI should be only discussed in person or on the phone. If I share any PHI via text, I agree to the inherent risk that I am sharing my own PHI, and I am aware that there is no HIPAA protection.
