Founded in 2014, Advanced Health & Wellness Center was created with a vision to provide compassionate, comprehensive care focused on wellness, prevention, and patient education. In 2023, we expanded into our Palm City location, enabling us to reach and support even more families throughout the region. We remain committed to helping our community not only heal, but flourish—living healthier, fuller lives together.

Meet Our Owner – Brittney Whelihan Irwin
A Passion for Patient-Centered Healthcare
Brittney Whelihan Irwin has worked in the medical field since 2004. In 2014, she founded Advanced Health & Wellness Center with a mission to provide compassionate, whole-person care that helps patients heal and thrive. Known for her dedication and hands-on approach, Brittney makes sure every patient feels heard, supported, and empowered. Outside the clinic, she enjoys time with her family and staying active in the Palm City community.
Meet the Team
Kassie (Kathryn) Christenson, DNP, APRN
Kassie grew up in Palm City and continues to reside in Stuart with her family. She graduated from Martin County High School and pursued her Nursing degree at Florida State University where she graduated with Honors in 2007. After graduation, Kassie was employed in Martin Memorial’s Surgical Neurological Intensive Care Unit for 5 years before returning to school for her Master’s degree.
She has a sincere love for elders and became a certified Geriatric Nurse Practitioner in 2013. She split her time between a busy primary care office and doing house calls for seniors who were unable to leave their homes. Shortly after, Kassie resumed her education in pursuing her Doctorate of Nursing degree with an emphasis on End of Life Care and Decision Making. Kassie completed her Doctorate in Nursing in 2015 from Florida Atlantic University. Kassie is pleased to have joined Advanced Health & Wellness Center.
Amanda Scott: Office Manager and Lash Tech
Amanda was raised in Martin County and graduate of Martin County High School. Amanda’s journey eventually led her to Southern California, where she resided for 10 years.
In 2018, Amanda graduated from the International School of Beauty, where she excelled in advanced courses. She earned phlebotomy and IV credentials to expand her practice. Amanda has become our office manager and medical assistant.
Amanda’s expertise extends beyond her skills as a lash artist. She is a brand ambassador for Livia Lash products and brand, showcasing her commitment to using high-quality and innovative beauty products. Over the past seven years, she has primarily focused on lashes, chemical peels and microneedling leveraging her extensive knowledge to provide exceptional
services to her clients.
Her passion lies in the transformative power of beauty treatments. Amanda’s dedication, attention to detail,
and artistic flair make her an outstanding skin care specialist and lash artist, leaving her clients feeling beautiful and confident.
